This interfaith Baha’i-Jewish marriage certificate features an intricate hand-painted geometric border design with gold gilt. Stars symbolic of the two faith traditions frame the top archway which in turn features inset panels with poetry couplets by Mowlana Rumi in Persian (Farsi). The Hebrew is from the Song of Songs (Song of Solomon 6:3): ‘Ani dodi v’dodi li’ – “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” The main text is in English. The outlined blank spaces are for all attendees at the ceremony to sign.
