| This invocation of Lakshmi was created some years ago for a corporate client. It was difficult to obtain a good photo of the piece as it is made up of five layers of gold including gold paint, two types of gold ink, gold powder, and burnished gold leaf. | |

| The Devanagri alphabet is closely linked with the ancient Sanskrit language. In fact, it is the script used for a host of South Asian languages and is structurally related to many other Indian, Central Asian and Southeast Asian scripts.
