SAMPLE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE - RUMI POETRY WEDDING CERTIFICATE

Fine hand painted illumination in the style of traditional Persian miniatures forms the border of this piece. Gouache, watercolour and metalic inks were used to build up a rich layering of colour for the border, producing a velvet-like texture that stands out from the paper surface. The timeless and now very popular poetry of Rumi (Maulana Jalalu-'d-din Muhammad Rumi) is featured in the original Persian and in English translation.

Each piece that I create is a completely hand-painted, hand calligraphed original using the finest archival colours, inks and materials available. I work to produce a unique piece that incorporates original and traditional design elements, creating a piece of fine art to be treasured as a family heirloom.
