In Persian folklore the figure of Lady Sun--
Khorshid Khanom--is a beloved character in
storytelling and in many cultural practices and
settings. Her image can be found in
embroidery, fabric printing, embossed metal,
mirrors, amulets, henna designs, and much
more. I share here a small portion of the
Khorshid Khanom images that I have created
